- Lead all aspects of the accounting function, including financial reporting, general ledger management, and month-end close processes.
- Manage a team of accounting professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support in a remote work environment.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, enhance efficiency, and optimize financial performance.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate annual audits and tax compliance initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and accounting standards to ensure alignment with emerging requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management to support business initiatives and strategic planning efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience working in the healthcare industry and familiarity with SaaS business models is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in a remote team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results, manage competing priorities, and adapt to change in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
