    Android Tactical Assault Kit Engineer

    As a full-stack developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment.

    We're looking for a developer like you with the skills needed to develop software and systems from vision to production ready.

    As a TAK Developer, you will guide and develop TAK solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

    We're looking for a developer with the skills needed to build full life cycle process-oriented software and provide integration support using Agile or iterative methodologies to support the design, development, and implementation of the military's TAK and ATAK architecture.

    This role is more than just coding.

    As a full-stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements.

    You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.

    You'll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

    3+ years of experience in software programming with object-oriented languages, including Java and Python
    1+ years of experience with developing native Android applications
    Experience with development in the Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) software development kit
    Experience with profiling UI, memory, and concurrency on Android
    Experience with on-device database management using SQLite
    Ability to obtain a security clearance
    Experience with Android distributions and software developmental kits
    Experience with Kotlin
    Secret clearance

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.Our people-first culture prioritizes the benefits of flexibility and collaboration, whether that happens in person or remotely.

    If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you'll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
