Description
SUMMARY Responsible for safely driving a commercial motor vehicle over established route to deliver dairy products, providing excellent customer service.
Must be 21 years old and Must have a valid Class A CDL license. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Deliver dairy products safely and on time to customers. Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer retention. Must be able to safely operate an electric pallet jack and be certified. Rotate, and remove out of date, damaged, or unsellable product. Pick up all empty milk crates and pallets. Resolve discrepancies and minor customer issues, alerting management when necessary. Ensure all paperwork is signed and store stamped. Comply with DOT regulations and company policy including required pre and post trip inspections, completing required paperwork daily. Maintain assigned truck in a neat and clean condition.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Customer Service or Sales Experience a plus
Other Qualifications
Excellent motor vehicle report Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and physical abilities test Must be organized, detailed oriented, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSPossess a Class A or the ability to obtain.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
