    Compliance Coordinator Job Description

    Our community clinic is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Compliance Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our clinic complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies by conducting regular audits, training staff, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

    • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare compliance
    • Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, HRSA, FTCA
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) preferred

    Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures
    • Conduct regular audits to assess compliance
    • Provide training to staff on compliance best practices
    • Investigate complaints and violations
    • Collaborate with leadership to reduce risk
    • Keep updated on healthcare regulations
    • Serve as the point of contact during audits
    • Monitor compliance indicators

    Additional Information:

    • Experience in a community clinic environment is beneficial
    • Valid California driver's license required
