ROLE:
Farmer Outreach Coordinator (Project Lead)

PART TIME, IN PERSONATS+Partners is hiring a Farmer Outreach Coordinator (Part time Contractor Position) to work on a USDA funded outreach initiative.

This role will be leading efforts to share information about the USDA's Discrimination Financial Assistance Program (DFAP) (enacted to provide outreach and technical support services for Farmers and Ranchers who experienced discrimination in USDA Farm Loan Programs).

The Farmer Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for sharing program information with various farm community stakeholders and managing project activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Host or attend - 6 events in person a week in assigned stateIdentify community organizations and events and develop an outreach planCreate and maintain project documentation, plans, and reportsFill out Community Event Survey and take photos during eventsShare information about the Discrimination Financial Assistance Program with farmers and ranchers in the communityBiweekly check ins with MOT to discuss documentation and report on project progress

Required Qualifications:
Valid drivers license and reliable transportationAdministrative experienceGood client-facing and internal communication skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Microsoft Office)Knowledge of state and local farming community
