The Outreach Coordinator will develop and execute Springwell's annual outreach plan in consultation with multiple internal stakeholders, and will assist with the development and maintenance of external relationships.
You will ensure appropriate and effective communication of the organization's key messages, help us reach and educate strategically important audiences about our work, identify areas for new partnerships, and promote the services available through Springwell's programs.
Key stakeholders include but are not limited to consumers, caregivers, other community-based organizations, faith communities, legislators, Councils on Aging and other local government entities.
This position works in partnership with Springwell staff across multiple areas of focus (direct service/information and referral, business development, marketing, and fundraising) and requires the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
This position requires travel throughout the Springwell service area and includes meeting with individuals, as well as small or large groups, conducting presentations and representing Springwell at health fairs or community events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with ASAPs, AAAs, Councils on Aging, older adults, individuals with disabilities or related human service providers, preferred
Familiarity with community-based organizations and local government entities
Ability to identify key stakeholders and develop positive relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Ability to develop and deliver content to meet the needs of different target audiences
Must be able to independently organize work, take initiative, and meet deadlines
