About Us:
At the TMJ and Sleep Therapy Centre of the South Shore, we are a dedicated team providing specialized treatment in TMJ disorders, craniofacial pain and sleep apnea.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic Outreach Coordinator to expand our referral network through strategic engagement with local healthcare providers.
We are seeking a proactive and personable Outreach Coordinator to join our team on a part-time or contract basis.This role involves representing our clinic in the local dental and medical community, building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of health professionals including dentists, doctors, and therapists to enhance our patient referral network.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers to enhance referral partnerships.
- Visit healthcare professionals in person to introduce our services and discuss potential patient referral opportunities.
- Organize and attend local medical community events to promote our clinic.
- Provide educational materials and information about our services to potential referral sources.
- Regularly update the team on outreach activities and progress.
- Coordinate with the clinic staff to understand specific patient needs and service updates.
- Implement strategies to increase awareness and visibility of our clinic within the local healthcare community.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- A background in marketing, communications, or healthcare administration is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel locally and meet with healthcare providers in person.
Education:
- High school diploma required; further education or a degree in marketing, communications, health administration, or related field is preferred.
