Position Description:

Serco is seeking a part-time on call Program Manager to support surge requirements and other administrative tasking as required.

This PM will be responsible for managing project(s) and related task orders for customer(s) with annual revenue ranging from $3 - $15M.

This PM conducts cost management through continual cost control and review and has business development and budgetary responsibilities. This PM provides expertise to customers to ensure resolution of issues. This role requires advanced knowledge and understanding of work project(s) and functions. This PM will typically manage a team of 20 or more employees and will report to the Program Director.


In this role, you will:


  • Serve act as the focal point for all communications between the Contractor and the Government for all aspects of contract requirements of all services required by this PWS.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to support mission requirements.
  • Act and make binding decisions on behalf of the Contractor.
  • Be onsite during normal working hours.
  • Submit reports/information to the Contracting Officer Representative as required.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • An active secret clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card for the Military Installation at the Cheatham Annex Naval Base.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Minimum of Twelve (12) years Program Management experience on a multifunction project, including resource planning, contract management, cost control, inventory management, quality assurance management, and personnel management.
  • Five (5) years experience supervising at least 20 people doing similar/related type work on contracts/projects of comparable scope and magnitude.
  • Five (5) years of Service Life Extension Program (SLEP), Integrated Logistics Overhaul (ILO), or manufacturing production experience.
  • The ability to travel up to 10%.

Additional desired experience & skills:


  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience in DMLSS.
  • Experience in Property Control Systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Shelflife management.
