    A full-service tax and accounting firm in Pasadena, California has an opening for immediate hire for an experienced Tax Manager with career growth opportunity and great compensation package.

    Must have a current CPA or EA license.

    Qualifications:
    Detail oriented.
    Great communication and organizational skills.
    Effectively assist in supervising a number of engagements simultaneously, ensuring optimum client satisfaction.
    Under minimal supervision, accepts responsibility for the successful outcome of client engagements.
    Performs a wide variety of advanced accounting functions.

    Required skills:
    Advanced knowledge of tax accounting, audit process, and tax law.
    Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks is a MUST.
    Experience and familiarity with using Go Systems is preferred, but not required.
    Under the direction of the Partners, effectively manages multiple projects and engagements simultaneously with superior customer satisfaction.
    Under the direction of the Partners, monitors project statuses to meet budgets, deadlines and quality control standards.
    Experience with effectively supervising, training and instructing lower level staff.
    Efficiently and accurately prepare, review and revise work papers.
    Experience communicating on behalf of client to tax authorities, including notices and examinations.
    Experience with preparing complicated tax returns for individual, corporate, partnerships and other type entities.
    Experience with meeting clients and establishing and maintaining relationships.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word) is a MUST.
    Friendly, courteous, and professional attitude.

    Education/Experience:


    The Tax Senior position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, must have the title of Enrolled Agent (EA) OR Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

    Also, a minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in public accounting, with demonstrated advanced knowledge of tax accounting and proven experience in supervising staff and managing multiple engagements simultaneously.

    Compensation:
    This is a full-time exempt permanent position.
    Annual Salary will depend on experience.
