- Capable of mastering and assisting in completing tax returns with supervision, including closely-held Partnerships, LLCs, S and C Corps, Trusts, and High Net Worth individuals.
- Grasp expertise in completing quarterly and annual federal and state tax projections for corporations and individuals.
- Learn to prepare internal research memos to assist executives in decision-making on complex issues.
- Participate in the engagement planning process by completing various assignments and giving input for internal budgeting.
- Client interaction and discussions as required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience in a professional services environment is preferred.
- The candidate must have satisfied the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam and be prepared to obtain CPA certification within 18 months of starting employment.
- Exposure to federal income taxation through education or professional experience.
- A strong ability to learn new information and actively participate in tax solutions for our clients.
