    SUMMARY

    The OUTSIDE SALES MANAGER is in charge of boosting sales growth and providing customer support to achieve business goals. Interacts and engages with customers face-to-face to understand their requirements and finalize sales agreements. Responsibilities include traveling to designated areas to meet both potential and existing customers, negotiating sales contracts, educating clients on new products, updates, and features. Accountable for elevating sales figures through the establishment and maintenance of customer relationships. Tasks involve spotting potential customers, territories, and markets, pursuing potential sales leads, and managing relationships as well as resolving issues with current customers. Additionally, might devise marketing strategies and plans targeted at specific markets.

    KEY FUNCTIONS
    • Carries out sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and attain yearly operating goals.
    • Secures new business and expands ongoing customer relationships critical for meeting the company's sales and marketing targets.
    • Cultivates strong relationships with key and potential strategic customers to reach marketing and sales objectives.
    • Contributes to the organization's overall success not only through Sales and Marketing excellence but also by proposing ideas and backing innovative programs that enhance the company's operations and profitability.
    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Sales

    • Executes and supports the development of annual sales strategies, plans, and forecasts.
    • Devises and implements tailored sales strategies and tactics to drive targeted sales and profit growth.
    • Handles all aspects of sales, including relationship building, prospecting, quoting, sales promotions, customer service, on-site product support, etc.
    • Strengthens and expands relationships with customers and potential strategic clients by actively nurturing these connections, including making periodic visits to target accounts alongside key management, operations, quality, and engineering personnel.
    • Engages in sales activities to support new customers and existing accounts, including the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, job cost estimations, and pricing structures.
    Marketing
    • Participates in industry association activities related to construction micro-pile and new target customer segments to stay abreast of trends, support customers, and foster new business opportunities.
    • DIRECTS market research efforts to stay informed on current and potential strategic customer needs, as well as projected requirements concerning products, services, pricing, etc.
    Customer Service
    • Ensures top-notch customer service by comprehensively grasping customer demands and expectations, developing organizational capabilities to meet them, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
    • Establishes customer service metrics, formulates and executes enhancement strategies, and reports on progress made.
    • Delivers field service, providing prompt and definitive responses to customer complaints or issues.
    Cross-Functional Interaction
    • Actively engages in cross-functional team meetings to grasp the inner workings of various company functions and offer pertinent insights about marketing and sales activities, leveraging this information to refine and enhance departmental activities and plans.
    • Educates cross-functional teams on industry trends, market dynamics, customer needs, and strategies to bolster the organization's competitive standing.
    Management
    • Furnishes detailed reports on sales, service activities, and goal achievements.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • 10+ years of progressively advanced experience in engineered metal fabrication products within commercial CONSTRUCTION FOUNDATION / DRILLING EQUIPMENT sectors.
    • Familiarity with the dynamics of the MICROPILE foundation construction domain.
    • Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field.
    • Proficient in sales-related computer databases and ERP systems as well as sales and engineering software.
    • Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints.
    • Possesses skills in Microsoft Office and relevant ERP computer applications.
