    Job Description
    • OverviewBattery Technicians inspect, repair, and maintain industrial batteries and support equipment.
    This includes scheduled maintenance as well as responding to equipment failures. Battery technicians must be safety conscious while working with heavy equipment and pay attention to Lock Outag Out procedures. Training is provided and safety measures enforced at all times.

    This is a full-time opportunity and is part of Hobby Lobby's Distribution Center at the corporate offices in Oklahoma City.


    Pay Rate:
    $18.50 Hr


    Shift:
    6:00am - 2:30pm (Mon-Fri. Work Schedule)Changing batteries in Forklifts, organizing and maintaining battery charging and careDiagnosing battery performance, and repairing and revitalizing conditions Logistics and organization to balance the number of batteries in each buildingInstallation and maintenance of Industrial charging equipmentMaintain clean work environment and appearance of equipmentBe self-motivated and flexible to work in different buildings on different days.     • RequirementsA general mechanical aptitude is needed Good troubleshooting and diagnosing skills are necessaryGeneral knowledge and experience with tools.
