    Description

    Summary

    As a National Bank Examiner/Bank Examiner (Quality Assurance (QA) Program Examiner), you will assist in administering the Large Bank Supervision Quality Assurance (LBS-QA) program. You will develop and implement QA programs that address regulatory requirements and operating methods, procedures, and practices of the banks supervised.

    Duties

    As a National Bank Examiner/Bank Examiner (Quality Assurance (QA) Program Examiner), you will:
  • Plan, conduct and lead supervisory QA reviews at individual large banks or across the population of large banks for areas deemed to be complex or high risk.
  • Coordinate efforts to promote consistent bank supervision and examiner operational policy implementation throughout LBS, make recommendations to senior management for supervisory process improvements, and encourage the dissemination of supervisory best practices.
  • Validate LBS actions to correct issues noted in findings from QA, Enterprise Governance Supervision (EGS) and other external parties.
  • Serve as an expert advisor/consultant to senior LBS officials and provide direction and leadership in the area of bank supervision, internal control, and QA processes.
  • Develop, maintain and disseminate supervisory guidance, as applicable, to examiners to enhance QA processes within LBS.
  • Provide leadership, training and development to examiners and examination support staff assigned to QA activities.
