- Control access to buildings and property, protect equipment and material, and perform interior and exterior facility security inspections as directed.
- Interact and escort as required with public and government personnel.
- Meet, greet, and interact professionally with employees, VIPs, and the general public
- Respond and assist medical, fire department, law enforcement, and other personnel at the direction of supervisors.
- Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Access control experience preferred.
- Ability to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Prior military, civilian, or security guard experience preferred.
- Completion of all training and have obtained all required permits, licenses, certifications and security clearances for the site.
- Valid state driver's license.
- No record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five years
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations.
- Efficient time management skills; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Develops realistic action plans.
- Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
- Skillfully operating personal computer/standard office equipment.
- Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, the Microsoft Office Suite, and Outlook.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
