Job Summary and Qualifications:


What you will do in this role:
The
Infection Control Preventionist is responsible for identifying, investigating, monitoring, and reporting healthcare-associated infections.

The
Infection Control Preventionist collaborates with teams and individuals to create infection prevention strategies, provide feedback, and sustain infection prevention strategies.


What qualifications you will need:


  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a related field is required
  • Medical Technologist, or Registered Nurse with active GA license is required
  • 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting is required
  • 12 years of Infection Prevention experience is required
