    Description
    Summary

    Access Control personnel are responsible for performing access control screening
    functions of employees & visitors for INSCOM related buildings and property.

    Responsibilities


    • Control access to buildings and property, protect equipment and material, and
    perform interior and exterior facility security inspections as directed.

    • Interact and escort as required with public and government personnel.

    • Meet, greet, and interact professionally with employees, VIPs, and the general
    public

    • Respond and assist medical, fire department, law enforcement, and other
    personnel at the direction of supervisors.

    • Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications


    • Access control experience preferred.

    • Ability to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to
    complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.

    • High School Diploma or GED.

    • Must be at least 21 years of age.

    • Prior military, civilian, or security guard experience preferred.

    • Completion of all training and have obtained all required permits, licenses,
    certifications and security clearances for the site.

    • Valid state driver's license.

    • No record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during
    the previous five years

    • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit
    and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms,
    wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand,
    climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift
    and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include
    close vision.

    those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.)

    • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment,
    with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

    • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot
    weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or
    caustic chemicals, and loud noise
