Description
:The Project Manager of Team 2 is responsible for the project assessment, data collection, development of a detailed project plan and communication plan that includes a timeline and results in process improvement.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Assumes leadership role on each assigned project; leads cross-functional project teams by task assignment and follow-up to ensure on-time completion.
2. Is responsible for project kick-off, identification of all project stakeholders, definition and clarification of project team roles and responsibilities including any applicable regulations and codes. Works with stakeholders to define all necessary resources.
3. Develops project plans, schedules, estimations, budgets, specifications, flowcharts, and performance measures.
4. Converts data into useable information (identify the data necessary to establish the baseline and measure the change, data gathering, presentation, interpretation, and analysis).
5. Conducts regular project reviews and reports the status of projects in both formal and informal settings.
6. Provides regular and timely feedback to team members and their project sponsors; is proactive in the identification and resolution of issues that may impact a project or project deliverables; seeks innovative ways to remove project obstacles.
7. Initiates master plan for utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve efficiency of operations.
8. Consults on project plans by defining processes, improvements, and recommendations.
9. Develops an inventory of projects and keeps it current.
Education and Learning:
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Work Experience:
REQUIRED
3-4 years of experience in progressively responsible work in health care management.
DESIRED
5-7 years of Project Management experience combined with proven ability to manage a variety of projects with varying levels of complexity to completion.
