    job summary:
    Manufacturer south of Kansas City is seeking a Quality Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Quality experience in manufacturing and experience with PPAP. Previous plastic injection molding experience a plus. Degree preferred but not required. Will relocate for the right candidate. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

    Permanent salary: $65, ,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Work to ensure product quality through proactive means and apply corrective action for positive future resultsVerify that production meets quality standardsMaintain inspection instructions and incoming receiving records of components Investigate production inefficiencies and verify the resolution of quality issuesEstablish visual acceptance criteriaOversee and direct nonconforming material, including rework and containment actions on all customer rejectionsTrain and direct quality inspectors, including implementing correct measurement techniquesComplete and distribute certificates of conformanceContribute to the corrective action investigations/resolutions through containment actions and qualityinspector updates Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred but will consider solid experience without degreePrevious manufacturing experienceExperience with PPAPAbility to work with tight deadlines Ability to use gauges, calipers, and micrometers Experience with plastic injection molding preferred #LI-RH1qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 3 years of experienceEducation: Bachelors skills: QualityPPAP
