In this role, you will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and plating in our dining services department. We are looking for someone who is friendly, dedicated, and committed to delivering exceptional meals and dining experiences to our residents.

As a Line Cook / Chef, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity by preparing a variety of dishes that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food according to recipes and dietary requirements
Ensure food is cooked to perfection and properly plated for service
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workstation
Assist in inventory management and ordering of food supplies
Collaborate with the dining services team to create menus and special dishes
Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
Train and mentor kitchen staff, as needed

Requirements

Previous experience as a Line Cook or Chef
Proficiency in various cooking techniques and methods
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes
Friendliness and customer-oriented approach
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
