    Description
    Role is focused on processing and monitoring purchasing orders for multiple companies, maintaining supplier
    relationships, and contributing to cost-saving initiatives.


    Responsibilities:

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Review and modify, as needed, purchase requests and execute purchasing orders for goods and
    services. Monitor and track order status and address delays or shipment discrepancies.

    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers. Evaluate supplier performance and ensure
    compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities through competitive bidding and negotiation. Work towards
    achieving cost reduction targets without compromising on quality.

    • Work closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs in order to identify new
    suppliers, products and industry trends.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Ability to occasionally visit other company locations or suppliers as needed.
    Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


    Skills:
    Experience in Supply Chain Management Preferred.

    No Degree Required

    Qualifications:

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 1-2 years of experience in procurement or buyer role.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software.
    • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Desire to learn and grow skillset in the area of Procurement.
    • Experience and/or knowledge of the asphalt industry desired but not required.

    EDUCATION
    Bachelor?s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
