    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a dedicated Printer Operator to join our Print Production team at ARC Document Solutions.

    As a Printer Operator, you will play a vital role in receiving, processing, and fulfilling orders for print services, bindery, and packaging.

    Your expertise in operating various printing equipment and machinery will ensure that print jobs are executed with precision and meet the exact standards set by our customers.

    Attention to detail, adherence to instructions, and commitment to quality will be essential in this role.


    Primary Tasks:

    • Receive, process, and manage print service orders, bindery tasks, and packaging requirements.
    • Prioritize and organize work assignments based on customer needs, workload, and equipment capabilities.
    • Thoroughly review and comprehend work orders to ensure accurate execution of printing procedures.
    • Follow detailed written and verbal instructions provided in work orders to maintain consistency and quality.
    • Process PDF files received through email, delivery, walkins, or other channels.
    • Operate various printing equipment and machinery, including large format and small format devices such as:
      Xerox Versant 4100 Color Press, Xerox Primelink Mono Press, HP Pagewide 8000xl Plotters
    • Employ appropriate finishing techniques for small and large format print jobs.
    • Conduct thorough inspections of finished work, checking for sharpness, line density, position, count, and size accuracy.
    • Perform scanningtofile tasks for hard copy jobs following standard operating procedures.
    • Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure equipment cleanliness to deliver highquality products.
    • Collaborate with other departments as needed to provide assistance or support.
    • Prepare packages for shipment with couriers when required.
    • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers.
    • Be open to working overtime when necessary to meet deadlines.
    • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a print environment, with familiarity in print production processes.
    • Proficiency in operating copiers and finishing equipment.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and convey jobrelated information clearly.
    • Physical capability to lift weights ranging from 25 to 50 pounds.
    • Attention to detail, precision, and commitment to delivering highquality results.

    Physical Demands:
    This role requires standing for long periods of time and working in a noisy environment. Additionally, various physical tasks such as lifting, reaching, and bending are necessary to perform the job effectively.


    Pay Range:
    $17.55 to $20.00 per hour.
