Description
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, particularly in earthwork projects.You will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, conducting site visits, and collaborating with various stakeholders to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to understand project scope and requirements.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
Utilize estimating software and tools to prepare detailed cost estimates for earthwork projects, including excavation, grading, and site preparation.
Analyze labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs to develop competitive bids.Monitor project costs and provide ongoing support to project teams as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an Earthwork Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of earthwork processes, including excavation, grading, and site preparation.
Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
