- Assist Interventional radiologists in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using imaging guidance.
- Prepares and positions patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, CT, and Ultrasound machines.
- Feel confident administering contrasts as ordered, while monitoring vital signs and condition.
- Assist with sterile setup and maintenance of the sterile field to ensure and follow strict infection control policy.
- Timely and accurate documentation of any patient care in an electronic medical record.
- Effectively collaborate with other members of the patient's care team.
- Provides appropriate patient care while adhering to professional practices and assuring a healthy work environment.
- Provide effective and high-quality imaging with ultrasound.
- Provide immediate assistance or intervention when needed.
- Active ARRT and ISDH Tech licenses within the state of Indiana
- 2 years of recent and related experience, as required by the facility
- Must be proficient ingeneral IR procedures and fully understand sterile field techniques.
- Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure
- Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
- Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by the facility
- Preferred, but not required: Experience with Siemens, Phillips IR Suites
