- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS).
- Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to gather report requirements and ensure reports meet business needs.
- Optimize report performance and data accuracy.
- Develop and maintain data models and data visualizations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with reports and data.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in reporting and data visualization.
- Provide technical support and training to users on report usage and best practices.
- Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Report Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in one or more reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSRS).
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with data modeling and data visualization best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Additional Skills (preferred but not required):
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as, Python, R for data analysis.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage and processing.

Come join a longstanding software/SaaS organization in need to hire an experienced Reporting/Business Intelligence Developer to create reports for their new data-centric software platform.
This is a brand new role, will report in through development and the person can come from really any type of reporting background - Qlik, SSRS, Cognos, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
Best yet, you would work primarily remote and only need to come into the office a couple of times PER YEAR
This person will help to design and built reports in a modern way for their new client-accessed system, so someone with a design eye to create attractive, functional and easily readable reports is a plus.
General SQL background is helpful for querying data
