Jefferson County Central Services is seeking a motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to serve as the Fleet Services/ER&R Manager responsible for the overall management of the Fleet Services Division and the Equipment Rental and Revolving (ER&R) Fund.
Located in Chimacum, the Fleet Services Manager is tasked with the purchase, maintenance, repair management and remarketing of fleet vehicles, trailers and equipment; the purchase of materials and supplies required by the Roads Division including aggregates and surface-mine administration; and manage 5 shop facilities which includes the repair, maintenance and upgrade of fuel sites, underground storage tanks and wash systems.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (BA) in industrial arts, mechanical technologies or a closely related field from a four-year college or university and three (3) years experience in relevant, progressively responsible Public Works or Fleet Management positions, including one (1) year of supervisory or lead experience; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Compensation:
This is a FLSA Exempt, Grade 18 position with a salary range of$6,192.50-$8,079.82/month. Placement depends on level of experience and qualifications.
Full medical benefits, including dental and vision. Retirement provided through Washington State DRS.
Plus 21 days of PTO (accumulated based on hours worked), 12 paid holidays and bereavement leave.
