Fox Pest Control is seeking a Pest Professional Technician at our Boston Northshore branch. We offer the opportunity to travel the Greater Boston Area visiting customers at their homes who need help resolving their pest control needs. We rely on our Pest Pros to be independent, hard working individuals with strong customer service skills.
**A day in the Life of a Pest Professional**
As a Pest Professional at Fox Pest Control, you will primarily be responsible for servicing our clients homes and offices with our leading edge products.
Daily responsibilities will consist of identifying, selecting, mixing and applying product or suitable wildlife solutions, in accordance with industry standards and state or federal regulations.
Specialize in residential structures and limit the nuisance pests such as: squirrels, raccoons, mice, rats, bats, snakes, foxes, coyotes, bees and wasps through the use of inspection, traps and other deterrents.
Relocating and removing any species with care and consideration as well as repairing and/or preventing further occurrences.
Company training and equipment will be provided to ensure your success
Take responsibility and initiative on your assigned Service Route or as assignment as necessary
Ability to build positive relationships, demonstrate strong influencing skills, and effectively communicate value to current and potential customers
Solid organizational and time management skills
Sound reasoning and problem solving abilities
Able to analyze pest control activity in order to explain, sell and implement an effective plan of action in reducing pest activity
Ability to learn and follow servicing protocols to apply chemical solutions, powders, and gases on or near surfaces of a building or house to eliminate pests
Comfortable on ladders and roofs
Ability to climb in attics
The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
A valid driver's license, authorized to work in the US
This position is subject to a background check, drug screen and motor vehicle record check
