    Division Foresite Group, LLC Position Traffic - Resume Database Location Dallas Description Foresite Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Traffic Engineer to join our Dallas, TX team We offer opportunities to collaborate with local agencies and DOTs on a diverse range of complex projects

    Responsibilities:
    Conduct various studies including intersection, corridor, sight distance, traffic impact, and road safety audits. Tasks include crash analysis, field data collection, traffic modeling with Synchro/SIDRA, intersection control evaluations, countermeasure identification, benefit-cost analysis, etc.

    Develop plans and drawings related to alternative intersection designs, roundabout design, signal design, utility coordination, signage, pavement markings, and traffic safety.

    Organize and conduct engineering investigations and planning work within defined scopes. Research the feasibility of alternative design approaches, site conditions, and regulatory agency specifications. Prepare preliminary man-hour, cost, and material quantity estimates.

    Participate in quality control checks, ensuring high quality standards in all produced work, reviewing computations, designs, and drawings created by others.

    Position Requirements Requirements:
    B.S. or M.S. in Engineering. Preferably with graduate-level technical coursework or an M.S.

    Professional Engineer (PE) License Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation Proficiency in Microsoft Office products At least 5 years of professional experience working with public and private sector clients.
