Scrum Master - Albuquerque, United States - Amentum
Description
Amentum is currently seeking a **Scrum Master** to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems.
**_This position requires onsite work, therefore candidate must reside in the Albuquerque area. Hybrid work available - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote after the initial training period._**
**As a member of the team, you will:**
+ Facilitate agile teams, apply best practices of the agile methodology, and assign and delegate tasks appropriately to align priorities with the overall schedule and team member capabilities.
+ Responsible for understanding the parameters of each sprint and will foster timely and accurate communication throughout the life of the project.
+ Works closely with the product owner to translate epics, stories, and other items on the sprint list into actionable tasks for developers.
+ Assist with problem resolution and work to maximize productivity and delivery to the customer.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Must have a Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience OR an Associates degree and 5 years of experience OR a High School degree/GED and 8 years of experienceOR equivalent.
+ Related experience can be substituted for relevant education and vice versa.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Clearance.
+ U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q security clearance.
+ Certified Scrum Master
+ Strong communication and teaming skills/experience
+ Experience with software development projects and lifecycle
**Desired Skills** :
+ Experience managing large complex software engineering teams.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
