Your responsibilitiesThe Process Controls Field Service Engineer performs on-site industrial customer service to include the start-up (commissioning), repair, and troubleshooting of control systems for pneumatic conveying and dust collection projects, systems, and equipment.
Conduct on-site start-up and/or repair of industrial control systems. Ensure proper and safe operation of installed equipment.Provide remote technical support and assistance (via telephone or e-mail) to internal Sales, Engineering, Production, and external customers and independent sales reps.
Compile trip documentation, reporting, and follow-up. Attend periodic training at test lab in Kansas City, MO or Sabetha, KS.Must be willing to travel or temporarily relocate to various unanticipated client sites nationally and internationally involving short- and long-term assignments.
Client worksite locations are varied, unanticipated, and subject to change. Travel 60% domestic, 20% international. Employee reports to our office in Kansas City but may telecommute from within commuting distance of the office.Your qualificationsRequires a BS (or foreign degree equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering (or ME Technology), Electrical Engineering (or EE Technology), or Electronics Engineering (or EE Technology NW 107th Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64153, United States of America
