Graphics Designer Position in Hoover, AL at Amerson Engineering and Controls, Inc.

Amerson Engineering and Controls is pleased to announce we are now looking for a Graphics Designer for our engineering team in Hoover, AL. The candidate will join our organization and help us design, manage, test, and complete projects on-time and on-budget. The preferred applicant will have HMI design experience in multiple industrial control systems to support the oil and gas industry across the nation. This position includes a broad spectrum of responsibilities depending on our current project workload.

Responsibilities include:

Interpret and translate complex technical data from P&IDs, schematics, and databases into clear, engaging visuals and graphics
Design graphics adhering to company branding and industry standards
Collaborate closely with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel for graphics creation and data manipulation
Maintain organized file management and version control systems
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for project needs or client visits

Qualifications:

We are searching for a person with 5+ years of experience in the industrial graphics area. Experience with Wonderware, FactoryTalk, or Honeywell Experion is preferred.
