- Assemble control systems infrastructure and install third-party equipment such as power meters, pumps, and pressure sensors
- Wire, test, and troubleshoot control panels and individual electrical subcomponents
- Read and mark up electrical schematics
- Follow company and industry workmanship standards for assembly and electrical work
- Follow Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures as-needed
- Set up and troubleshoot simple ethernet communications networks
- Pick up and learn new pieces of software for interfacing with and configuring devices such as vision sensors, data acquisition units, HMIs, and laser profilometers
- 4-6 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with the basic concepts of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and networking
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and Industry Codes (OSHA, NFPA, NIST)
- Knowledge of proper wiring and cabling standards and techniques (Clean termination, ferruling, grounding & bonding, strain relief, etc.)
- Experience working with and installing components such as laser sensors, proximity sensors, gas flow and pressure sensors, vision systems, motors, pumps, and VFDs

Description

As a Control Systems Technician, you will carry out assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems infrastructure and equipment.You will be responsible for both low-voltage control wiring and higher-voltage power wiring and will work on a variety of internally-developed and third-party systems and machines.
You will work closely with Controls Engineers on the Manufacturing team, as well as both technicians and engineers from a variety of adjacent working groups.
You will be based on-site at our facility in Devens, MA, and will report to our Automation Controls & Equipment Engineer.

Natick Zone
$40-$46 USD
Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
In addition to the base salary offered, the hired applicant may receive:
* an equity grant

* a $75/month cell phone allowance
* a 4% employer 401(k) match
