    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Act as a catalyst within the Global Finance organization to deliver a portfolio of projects and drive initiatives aimed at optimizing financial performance and enhancing profitability.

    Collaborate closely with department heads to gain insights into business drivers, challenges, and opportunities.

    Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making and achieve financial objectives effectively.

    Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team supporting Operations, particularly surrounding Novavax COVID vaccine and updated variants, the company's proprietary MATRIX adjuvant, and the Flu-COVID combination vaccine (CIC) and the related expansion of global capabilities. This entails overseeing areas such as manufacturing, quality, process & analytical development, supply chain, and regulatory affairs.

    Support Operations' long-range plans by incorporating the financial impacts of the Company's strategies and initiatives through sophisticated financial models and analyses.

    Develop and lead the annual budget and forecast process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

    Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to the executive team, enhancing management reporting and commentary to provide senior leaders with timely insights into trends, operational results, and growth drivers.

    Communicate financial insights clearly and compellingly to non-finance stakeholders.

    Establish and maintain internal controls consistent with corporate requirements and best business practices, overseeing the coordination of information to external auditors.

    Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance, including supporting ad hoc projects and Finance department initiatives.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, Master's degree and CPA preferred.

    10+ years of finance experience (preferably in the Biotech industry), including 3+ years with a Big 4 Audit Firm (preferred) and 5+ years managing teams.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects within a large Global Finance Team, coupled with knowledge of strategic and operational finance systems and the mechanics of finance operations.

    Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

    Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance is required.

    Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and mentor and build a team of financial professionals.

    Possess a business partner mindset with advanced/expert Excel financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.

    Strong financial system/ERP expertise and passion for business excellence and continuous improvement in processes.

    Experience working in global high-growth companies is a plus.
