- Plan, layout and install low, medium and high pressure ductwork, air distribution accessories and associated equipment for commercial, industrial and institutional heating and air conditioning work.
- Locate, measure and outline installation areas from construction drawings.
- Drill holes, attach brackets, hangers and other holding devices.
- Install ductwork, air distribution accessories and related equipment such as air handling units, fans, coil banks, levers, dampters, plenium casings, VAV boxex, etc.
- Fabricate complex fittings and draw sketches of complex fittings and ductwork for fabrication.
- Assist with moving, loading, unloading and distribution of material and parts.
- Set equipment such as coils, fans and humidifiers.
- Operate equipment such as shears, press brakes etc.
- Must have minimum of 2 years of shop sheet metal experience.
- Must have experience in caulking.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
