- Team Leadership and Development: Oversee and manage a team of 5-10 developers and additional nearshore/offshore contractors. Ensure team cohesion and foster a collaborative and productive environment. Provide mentoring, guidance, and performance reviews.
- Client Project Management: Lead service-side contracts, ensuring all client projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Manage both new developments and maintenance of existing applications.
- Technical Architecture: Provide architectural suggestions and lead the review process. Offer expert guidance on technical approaches and solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and meet both client needs and company goals.
- Process Improvement: Continually enhance development processes and methodologies. Implement best practices in software development and project management.
- Innovation and Performance Focus: Drive initiatives that enhance system performance and reliability. Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Participate actively in client meetings to provide updates, gather requirements, and address concerns. Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other managers and teams within the organization to ensure alignment and maximize synergies across projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a proven expertise in .NET, C#, SQL Databases, and Azure.
- At least 2 years of experience in a managerial role, overseeing software development teams.
- Profound knowledge of software engineering best practices, including Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong familiarity with JavaScript and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Terraform, Python, PHP, PostgreSQL, and AWS is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating and leading teams to meet ambitious project goals.
