Description
Project Accountant Needed - Builder in Brooklyn NY building large luxury multifamily residential buildings.Main Duties:
- Liaison between Project Mgmt & Accounting
- Ability to use Timberline / TimberScan For A/P, Contracts, & Job Cost Reporting.
- Research & Resolve billing A/P problems.
- Maintain Real Time Job Project Cost sheet including Cost to Date, Paid to Date & Vendor Balance Due.
- Track Subs Certificates of Insurance.
- Process All Payment Requisitions determining accuracy of subcontractor paperwork.
- Vendor communication.
- Review & maintain lien waivers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience working for a General Contractor or a similar role
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Pay:
$85, $90,000.00 per year
