    Description

    Were looking to hire a full time chef to work alongside our head chef to cook the brunch and lunch offerings at our caf in Kings Heath, Birmingham. We are a young business, that has established a reputation locally for our creative dishes. In the past 2.5 years we have grown significantly and have real plans to expand further, moving to a larger premise and potentially a second site, so we are looking for the right person to be a part of our growth and to help us to achieve those goals.

    The team are made up of young, ambitious, passionate chefs who are constantly striving to innovate and improve. The right candidate should be able to fit into that team. Your primary role will be to cook the brunch/lunch menu, but there will also be opportunities to learn and develop pastry skills.

    A friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude

    Thrives and excels in a busy environment

    Salary up to 28,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

    Position type full time, 40 hours per week

    Required to work weekdays and weekends

    Essential Requirements * At least 3 years experience in reputable, high volume kitchens

    Good time management

    Career minded with leadership skills

    Ability to work flexible hours

    Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, delegate tasks and lead junior staff

    Good communication skills

    Compliance and paperwork required including health and safety/food hygiene
