Position Shift: PRN Days
Position Summary:
The Clinical Staff Pharmacist is responsible for a number of clinically related activities of the department. These activities may include order entry, drug use review, drug information, chart review, pharmacokinetic dosing, communicating drug therapy changes to physicians, formulary related activities, presenting drug information to various groups, etc. They are responsible for communicating problems in these areas with the assistant director on a timely basis. They must be able to perform functions of a pharmacist in all areas. They must be knowledgeable in standard pharmaceutical procedures of techniques, laws governing the practice of pharmacy and clinical pharmacy concerns. They must be able to work with pharmacy leadership, other managers, and staff in meeting organizational and department objectives.
Credentials / Education:
Licensure with Tennessee Board of Pharmacy Required
Pharm D or Graduate from an Accredited College of Pharmacy
2 Years Pharmacy Experience Preferred
