- Responsible for full employee life cycle for client's employees; from onboarding (e.g., new hire paperwork, benefits, and 401k enrollment) through offboarding (exit interviews, COBRA, separation agreements, severance, final paperwork, etc.)
- Serve as the primary client contact for HR for several clients.
- Serve as a liaison between client relationship management teams and other internal teams, managing multiple lines of communication to ensure client receives deliverables in a timely manner.
- Ensure our clients are compliant with all regulatory rules, postings, policies, and reporting requirements (city, state and federal).
- Assist in benefits management as needed, including leave of absences, disability paperwork, worker's compensation, 401k plan set up, and open enrollment, as well as partner with benefits team to assist employees with claim or coverage issues.
- Respond to payroll, benefits, 401(k), and employee policy inquiries from employees and coordinate with third parties as needed (e.g. insurance broker).
- Drive and coordinate recruiting life cycle for clients including screening, interviewing, background checks, calling references, and drafting offer letters as requested.
- Review multiple payrolls with different pay frequencies for all assigned clients and collaborate with payroll team to answer questions.
- Facilitate the annual year-end process, including compiling compensation data, bonuses and pay adjustments per client request.
- Liaise with employment counsel as needed.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR with payroll experience preferred; 2 or more years must be in an HR Generalist capacity.
- Knowledge of regulatory laws at the local/city, state, and federal levels.
- Proper judgement to determine when escalation to management is needed.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, organized, and solution and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple requests at once.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.

The Opportunity:HR Generalist
The HR Generalist is a critical member of the Client HR and Payroll Team, which provides outsourced HR and payroll services to high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.
Principal Responsibilities:
Compensation Range:ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, together with other compensation being offered such as a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $100,000 110,000 together with a discretionary bonus, health insurance, paid time off, 401k participation with a company matching program, wellness stipend, personal education allowance as well as a commuter benefits program.
