    Job Description

    As an irrigation service technician, you will meet with customers to perform repairs and maintenance of irrigation/sprinkler systems. You will make recommendations on additional products and services that may be needed as a part of a multi-point inspection of the property. You will discuss potential problems and solutions tailored for the customer.

    Following through with customers until all issues are sufficiently solved is our goal.

    Will work with the General Manager and Owner to optimize production efficiency and ensure the highest degree of customer service. Works with the office staff for effective scheduling and routes.

    Compensation:

    $25 - $28 hourly

    Responsibilities:
    • Provide reliable, high-quality customer support.
    • Provide customer instruction on system operation so they can run their sprinkler system safely and effectively.
    • Performs system testing and signal verification via troubleshooting.
    • Ensure system efficiency to maintain matched precipitation to conserve water.
    • Follows all laws and regulations in accordance with the TCEQ.
    • Uses all available resources and manuals to execute assigned tasks.
    • Completes all tasks and documentation in a timely manner.
    • Respond effectively to customer requests and complaints while making appropriate recommendations.
    • Perform proper seasonal maintenance on irrigation systems such as turn on and blowouts, as needed.
    • Stock our irrigation van appropriately.
    • Be adequately cross-trained in other fields such as fertilizer and yard seeding.
    • Play as a team As a member of a new company, we will need flexibility from you to assist where we need help.
    Qualifications:
    • Possesses outstanding customer service abilities.
    • Possesses a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
    • Capable of demonstrating a minimum of 2 years experience in the irrigation industry.
    • Conversant with CRM programs. RealGreen preferred.
    • Complies with a clean and safe driving record and successfully passes the company's internal insurance check for operating a company vehicle.
    • Adept in utilizing tools, techniques, and procedures for irrigation systems.
    • Displays a positive, motivated attitude and a forward-thinking approach.
