- High School diploma or equivalent
- Six months to one year of relevant experience preferred
- Familiarity with computer usage and email systems is desirable
- Screen all visitors entering the facility
- Call staff for both medical and non-medical emergencies
- Ensure smooth communication among staff and visitors
- Provide 16-hour coverage per day, 7 days per week, at the reception area
- Manage the switchboard to facilitate communication flow at the hospital
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to operate a computer and utilize email effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and operating needs
- Schedule: Monday through Friday: 4 hours/day (4-8 pm) and Saturday and Sunday: 9.50 hours/day (10 am to 8 pm)
- Schedules are subject to change to meet operating needs.
- Free parking is available at the location.
- Close proximity to public transportation: The #6 Train stops at Middletown Road and Westchester Square and #21 NYC MTA bus stops at the campus.
- Interviews will be conducted live.
- A $25.00 deposit is required for state-issued keys and ID within 2 weeks of starting.
