    We are looking for a CNC Machinist for one of our esteemed clients in Hudson, OH

    Position: CNC Machinist
    Location: Hudson, OH
    Salary: Depending on experience with Benefits.
    REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
    STATUS: Non-Exempt
    DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing

    POSITION SUMMARY: Set up and operate more than one type of machine tool such as millers, drill presses and lathes on a wide range of production work involving difficult operations, close tolerances, and setups of parts of irregular shape. Determines feeds, speeds, tooling and operation sequence, or set up pursuant to feeds, etc., as prescribed in drawings or layouts.

    MIMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of the job.

    • Prior machining experience or training
    • Able to safely and competently operate various machine tools, which may include manual and CNC lathes and mills, surface/blanchard grinders, O.D. grinders, and drill presses
    • Able to machine parts within .002
    • Able to read and understand blueprints
    • Able to read micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment
    • Able to operate overhead cranes and powered industrial trucks
    • Able to use various hand and power tools
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to use and wear safety equipment (i.e. safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, etc.)

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    • Load/unload parts on machine using overhead crane
    • Set up and operate various machine tools
    • Machine various parts according to work orders and blueprints
    • Perform basic machine maintenance (add oil, change tooling, clean scrap, etc.)

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    • Physical demand requirement: Medium

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment is a standard manufacturing environment with concrete flooring, heat/no air, forklift traffic, overhead crane movement, and various employees performing independent tasks.
