    Position Overview:
    As the Senior Manager of Business Continuity at Republic Services, you will lead the way in ensuring the organization's business continuity and risk management programs. Collaborating with various teams, you will develop and implement strategies to enhance business resilience and risk mitigation practices.

    Main Responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain detailed business continuity plans for organizational resilience.
    • Lead business impact analyses, risk assessments, and testing activities.
    • Execute continuity and response plans during disruptions, adhering to industry standards.
    • Manage the Business Continuity team, providing coaching and support for career development.
    • Conduct risk assessments and scenario planning to identify potential impacts and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Establish key risk indicators and tolerance thresholds for monitoring and reporting.
    • Coordinate training programs to educate employees on emergency response.
    • Monitor external risks and trends for incorporation into risk management strategies.
    • Act as a primary contact during emergencies or business disruptions for response and recovery efforts.
    • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation to support business continuity programs.
    • Collaborate with partners, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
    • Monitor program activities for opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Work with IT to align disaster recovery and business continuity programs.

    Qualifications:
    • Professional certification in business continuity or related field.
    • Experience in data analysis and enterprise-wide management frameworks.
    • Knowledge of various risk management disciplines.
    • Proficiency in business continuity planning applications and emergency notification systems.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities and team motivation skills.

    Minimum Requirements:
    • 7 years of experience in business continuity, crisis management, or related fields.
    • 1-2 years in a leadership position.
