Responsibilities:

As a Tax Manager in the Financial Services industry group, you will deliver federal tax consulting and compliance services to clients in banking and financial sectors
You will engage directly with clients, lead the tax team, collaborate with specialized experts when necessary, and benefit from the firm's strong support system to ensure your success in your role and career
Building and nurturing client relationships in various federal and state tax consulting/compliance projects. Ensuring clients receive timely service and proactive communication
Providing guidance to clients on diverse tax matters such as income tax accounting, tax provisions, compliance, and assisting in audits by tax authorities
Conducting thorough reviews of tax work papers and calculations prepared by other team members
Offering training, guidance, and oversight to junior staff and senior accountants
Supervising consulting initiatives involving tax analysis for different entities and their subsidiaries
Remaining updated on tax-related developments in financial institutions to deliver pertinent services and solutions aligned with clients' needs
Engaging and leading various firm initiatives and projects
Our comprehensive business tax services cater to both public and private enterprises, covering tax planning, compliance, risk management, government incentives, and tax consulting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Capability to travel up to 10%, depending on the nature of your work and the clientele you serve
Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Possess one of the following accreditations:
Licensed CPA or attorney
Minimum of 5 years in corporate tax roles
Demonstrated managerial skills in handling budgets, personnel, and projects
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
