Sebastian Vallejo

I am a computer science major who has worked in many fields, such as IT, app development, website creation and cyber security. I am well versed in several different coding languages and still attempting to learn more. I am latino college student who is looking for more experience in the field of computer science.

I have worked as a backend programmer for a medical company called Medtronic that were working on developing an application that helped monitor patients when they were not with their doctor. The application had a working AI that could talk to the patient and answer basic questions, as well as monitor any changes in the patient's health and communicate this information to the patient's current doctor. Currently I am working with a start up company known as First Step that aims to create a new curriculum for highschool students that uses the internet to better help connect students with one another and their teachers as well as having modern curriculum to help students in our current age with classes on managing taxes and other important skills that a student would need. I am helping them develop their website and soon will be helping them develop an AI with the knowledge I acquired from my last job to better help the program run more smoothly.

I am currently studying in the University of Loyola in Chicago where I major in Information Technology. While my main focus is in IT, I have also taken many classes in Cyber Security and Software Development which has helped me greatly in the jobs that I have mentioned above.
