    CLIENT SUMMARY

    Located at The Interlock on Atlanta's Westside, Humble Pie is a new restaurant offering chef-driven American dishes since its opening in January of 2023. Humble Pie has already been named one of the top six new restaurants in 2023.

    Humble Pie provides a unique dining experience, and it has already been a huge asset to the community, from providing exceptional meals and service for new customers to creating an excellent culture for new employees.

    POSITION OBJECTIVE

    Humble Pie is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Executive Chef to lead their full-service restaurant back of house. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen's day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the restaurant industry.     POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including staffing, scheduling, training, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
    • Ensuring that all dishes meet high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency by conducting regular quality checks and training kitchen staff accordingly.
    • Managing food costs by sourcing ingredients efficiently, minimizing waste, and optimizing portion sizes without compromising on quality.
    • Working closely with the management team to develop strategies for business growth, marketing initiatives, and guest satisfaction.
    • Providing leadership and guidance to kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting teamwork and professional development.
    • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling standards, and sanitation practices to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
    • Prioritizing guest satisfaction by responding to feedback, addressing concerns, and consistently delivering exceptional dining experiences.
    • Staying updated on culinary trends, techniques, and industry developments to keep the restaurants offerings fresh, relevant, and competitive in the market.
    • Designing, developing, and updating the restaurants menu to reflect the concept, seasonality, and local availability of ingredients.
    • Innovating and creating new dishes that align with the restaurants style and vision while also appealing to customers tastes.
    • Collaborate with Executive Management Team to develop long-term strategic plans and growth initiatives for the restaurant

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

    • Chef and/or kitchen management experience preferred
    • 5+ years of proven experience in a senior management role within the full-service restaurant industry
    • Enthusiastic with high energy; passion for leading, coaching, and developing others
    • In-depth knowledge of kitchen management
    • Desire to care for others; strong relationship builder
    • Systems thinker, innovator, problem solver; experience implementing effective operational solutions
    • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis
    • Ability to set goals and create action plans to achieve those goals
    • Sense of ownership; self-motivated with a willingness and eagerness to learn
    • Perceptive and innovative; able to determine needed ongoing changes to the business
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff
    • Takes initiative; driven and hardworking individual with a growth mindset
    • Organized, detail-oriented with a strong sense of follow-through; commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and service
    • Knowledgeable about business processes; ability to create systems and processes
