    Introduction

    Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Principal Data Platform Product / Program Manager position. This position is a contract opportunity which is expected to be on-site in Orlando, FL for a duration of 22 Months.

    Looking for a seasoned Principal Data Platform Product / Program Manager to lead the delivery of cutting-edge data platform initiatives. This pivotal role centers on implementing the strategic vision for the company's data infrastructure to power analytics, data science, operational, and business intelligence use cases with data.

    This role is suited for a pragmatic leader focused on operational excellence and delivery in the realm of data platforms. If you are driven to implement visionary data solutions and lead teams to successful project completions, we encourage you to apply.

    Responsibilities:

    • Align and oversee the strategic product roadmap and features across all aspects of new data platform, ensuring alignment with the broader objectives and the specific needs of our data users.
    • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive the development, deployment, and enhancement of platform features.
    • Support the reference architecture practice within the data space, ensuring alignment in terms of focus, intake, and notices of decisions.
    • Work closely with users (data scientists, engineers, and business leaders) to ensure the platform robustly supports diverse data operations.
    • Define and monitor critical performance metrics to assess platform efficiency and its impact on business outcomes.
    • Proactively identify risks and challenges in the platform's operations, addressing them with innovative solutions and enhancements.
    • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates and making strategic decisions to optimize project outcomes.

    Details:

    Required:
    • Over 10 years of proven experience in product or program management, with a strong focus on technology and data solutions.
    • Extensive experience in managing data platforms, including familiarity with current technologies and trends in data management and analytics.
    • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and guiding teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
    • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, with proficiency in tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
    • Experience in a large-scale, high-growth technology environment.
    Education:
    • Bachelor's degree or related experience
    Preferred:
    • Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP), Agile methodologies (CSM), or Data Management
