- Manage overall casino beverage and coffee bar operations to deliver a unique service experience and ensure optimal performance of all cocktail services.
- Supervise casino beverage team members' work processes and procedures, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient operations.
- Train team members in beverage service, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to maintain service efficiency and compliance with standards.
- Monitor budgets, payroll records, and financial transactions to ensure authorized expenditures and adherence to budget.
- Control beverage inventories, including liquor, and report shortages to relevant personnel.
- Analyze operational issues like theft and waste, and establish corrective procedures.
- Interview, select, and train new team members.
- Review and adjust team members' working schedules.
- Plan work processes and determine effective techniques for team members.
- Adhere to disciplinary policies, including counseling team members and applying progressive discipline as needed.
- Address and resolve team members' complaints, grievances, and concerns efficiently.
- Oversee rewards and recognition programs for front-line team members.
- Evaluate team members' performance, productivity, and efficiency through periodic assessments.
- Recommend status changes for team members, such as promotions, transfers, or shifts in employment status.
- Manage labor costs, staffing objectives, and guest satisfaction effectively.
- Act as a role model for employees and uphold company standards.
- Ensure team members' safety, keep work areas clean and hazard-free, and perform duties responsibly.
- Supervise team members' attendance and time records.
- Manage departmental expenses efficiently.
- Protect and preserve company assets.
- Adhere to bargaining unit agreements.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent education and experience.
- 3-5 years of progressively challenging leadership experience in casino beverage, restaurant, or bar settings is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification.
- Capability to prepare, understand, and analyze Department Budgets, Capital Expenditures, and P&L Statements.
