    Description

    PrideStaff is proud to work with our client, a specialty testing lab. The Nation's Premier Specialty Lab is currently seeking a motivated Shipping Receiving and Production Associate

    Responsibilities:

    • Enter Data quickly and efficiently with precision and consistency
    • Assemble ready-to-ship products
    • Work closing with the team and engages with vendors, drivers and other service providers on all items that enter or leave the shipping & receiving department
    • Prepare daily shipments by assembling and packaging items using appropriate packing materials
    • Receive daily shipments and promptly sort, stock, scan and update reporting
    Technology:
    • Utilizes various technologies including but not limited to computerized systems, FedEx, UPS, Outlook email, and phone for the purpose of processing shipping/receiving orders
    Skills:
    • Strong Data Entry
    • Must be detailed oriented, organized, proficient with reading, writing, and computer skills
    • Able to efficiently assemble packaging according to product specifications
    • Must be willing to learn quickly and adapt to changes in a shipping/receiving laboratory space
    • Having the ability to determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
    • Ability to demonstrate time management skills and punctuality
    Qualifications:
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • At least 1 year of related experience in assembly line, material handling, shipping/receiving, customer service and/or inventory control procedures. Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment
    • Experience using UPS shipping software (Worldship) is a plus
    • Prior Production, Warehouse, Supply Chain, or Logistics experience is a plus
