    Description

    Dear Candidate,

    We are currently searching for a Finance Director for our client in business aviation refurbishment & aircraft interior solutions.

    The Finance Director is tasked with overseeing all functions of Finance & Accounting, including high level accounting, managerial accounting and finance activities - further assists with the preparation of the operating budgets, overseeing financial reporting and performing essential duties relating to payroll.

    Job Title: Director of Finance

    Salary: 100K-130K/year base

    Mode: Onsite role

    Location: Chesterfield, MO (Candidates from other states will also be considered & paid for relocation)

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive financial updates to management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points,
    • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual P&L statements, balance sheets and cash flows in compliance with GAAP,
    • Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscapes
    • Supervise the Finance & Accounting Team that manages all financial flows and books.
    • Oversee The Finance & Accounting Team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity,
    • Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective action,
    • Maximize payroll efficiency through innovative process development,
    • Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements as well as the requirements of private contributions, loans, and government contracts,
    • Establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis,
    • Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation,
    • Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow,
    • Display a continuous and effective understanding of GAAP, implement new accounting standards as needed,
    • Develop and continuously refine financial processes and controls in readiness for operations
    • Investigate accounting and fiscal issues,
    • Manage related external service providers as contracted (QuickBooks, other),
    • Lead administrative, accounting, and book-closing functions,
    • Maintain accounting records, closing the books monthly & supporting activities of the management team

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, accounting, or related field.
    • Minimum 5+years' experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager executing the responsibilities mentioned in description.
    • Strong working knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP)
    • Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis
    • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting
    • Should have experience using software like QuickBooks online, etc.
