    The HT Group has partnered with a premier Austin-based client in the search for a qualified Financial Reporting Manager for an immediate, growth-focused need. Our client is looking for a self-starter with solid people and process management skills along with solid experience in corporate, M&A and consolidations reporting/analysis focuses.Previous experience working in a high-growth, multi-entity setting would be highly preferred to be successful in this role. This will be a hybrid work situation (3 days in-office/2 remote) and will be based in our client's South Austin HQ.

    Direct Hire - Base salary up to $125K+ bonus/solid benefits - Hybrid - South Austin location
    What you will do:
    • Supervise and mentor a team of 2 that are responsible for Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Leases, Inventory, and related.
    • Lead team through month-end close and consolidation process including detailed variance analyses of financial performance against budgeted and forecasted figures.
    • Streamline existing management reporting and provide detailed explanations and footnoting for variances.
    • Coordinate and oversee external audit engagements, serving as the primary point of contact for auditors and reviewing audit findings to address any discrepancies or deficiencies.
    • Assess and document technical accounting considerations relevant to assigned areas of responsibility.
    • Produce accurate and timely flash forecasts to provide management with insights into current financial performance and trends.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
    • CPA required
    • 5+ years relevant accounting experience, preferable in growth/ heavy M&A settings required
    • Public/industry experience required
    • Proficiency with NetSuite a plus
    • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
    • Extensive GAAP and technical accounting knowledge
    • Advanced MS Excel proficiency required
    • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
    • M&A accounting highly preferred
    • Experience working in a fast-paced setting
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Solid communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
